Project Zero is an online game for Android (and later PC). This page explains which data the game collects, why, for how long and how to delete it. In short: we only collect what the online game needs to work, we never sell any data and the game has no advertising.

Who is responsible

Data controller: Bozzoalan Andrea, independent developer. Contact for any privacy request: projectzero.games.studio@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

The game never asks for your real name, email, phone number, age, location, contacts, photos or payment details.

DataWhyHow long
Account ID (8 random characters) and a secret access key (the server keeps only its encrypted fingerprint) Recognise your account when you connect, without a password.Until you delete the account.
Hero name chosen by youShow it to other players (rankings, island, friends, Arena).Until you delete the account.
Game state: hero, items, currencies, progress, friends, rankings, leagues, ruby purchases (receipt number) The game is always online: the real save lives on the server, so it is never lost and nobody can cheat.Until you delete the account.
IP address and technical connection data (ping, connection type, operating system) Connect you, protect the server from abuse and attacks, understand network problems. In server logs for 30 days, then deleted automatically.
Anonymous statistics: session length, room where players stop, return after 1 and 7 days, game errors Find where the game is too hard or breaks, and improve it.Only as overall numbers (e.g. "40% come back the next day"), without knowing who.
Problem reports you send from the game (text, optional screenshot, account ID, game version) Fix the problem you report. At most 90 days.

Chat messages between friends go through the server to reach your friend but are never stored.

Legal basis

Performance of the service you request by installing and using the game (GDPR art. 6.1.b) for account, name and game state; legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f) for server security, technical logs and anonymous statistics.

Who we share it with

On your phone

The game keeps on your phone a copy of the save, your ID with its access key and your settings (language, audio, notifications). Notifications are local: your phone schedules them, no server sends them. Uninstalling the game deletes them.

How to delete your data

After deletion only these remain: server safety copies, overwritten automatically within 7 days; logs with the IP, within 30 days; the receipt number of a purchase, no longer linked to you (it prevents reuse).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and object to its use, by writing to projectzero.games.studio@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.

Children

The game does not ask for age and collects no more data from children than from adults. If you are under 14 (or the age set by your country), ask a parent before playing online. A parent can ask us to delete the account at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date above and announce it in the game news.
